Derry, New Hampshire
Every pie starts with a decision: cut corners, or respect the craft. At Romano's, we chose the harder path — hand-stretched dough, San Marzano–style tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and a wood-fired conviction that hasn't changed since day one.
Our Story
Romano's Pizza opened its doors on Manchester Road in Derry with one non-negotiable standard — every pizza we serve should make someone stop and pay attention. That hasn't changed.
We source locally whenever we can. Our dough is mixed fresh daily, our sauces are built from whole tomatoes, and our cheeses are sliced and shredded in-house. No shortcuts. No frozen shortcuts disguised as convenience. Just the kind of pizza that makes regulars plan their week around Tuesday nights.
The Process
For us, craft means showing up every single day and refusing to accept "good enough." It means the dough rests long enough to develop flavor. It means the sauce is balanced before it ever touches the crust. It means the oven is hot, the timing is tight, and the pizza comes out exactly how it should.
Dough is prepared fresh each morning and given time to develop properly.
Each pie is hand-stretched and topped with care — never rushed, never generic.
Baked at the right temperature until the crust is perfect. Served immediately.
